A mixed-tenure scheme to restore a London residential landmark.
The 200-metre long Peabody Avenue in Pimlico was built in the 1870s. Originally two simple parallel blocks, wartime bomb damage and subsequent piecemeal development had left the southern end of the estate fractured. We were appointed by Peabody to deliver cost management and employers agent services on an £11m project to construct a five-storey L-shaped block of 55 new home with 2 cores and a maximum of 6 storeys, reconciling the complex existing urban conditions to form a new termination and focal point for the Avenue |
