The Yard Theatre

A proposed redevelopment of an existing community hub in Hackney, London.

Located in Hackney Wick, The Yard Theatre is a converted warehouse venue that hosts performing arts productions and music events. It is situated on a large industrial site earmarked for redevelopment, with the proposal providing a new hotel and residential scheme and a mixed-use community arts hub. The plan was to relocate the theatre and provide it with an additional performing arts auditorium.

Despite the scheme moving to planning, due to rising construction costs, the plans were placed on hold. However, The Yard Theatre approached us to provide cost options to redevelop their existing building in a similar way to the proposed scheme. The project is ongoing.
